Nowadays zoological gardens are places where people can not only see animals from all over the world, but also learn live a true educational experience. The Educational Department of Parco Natura Viva is more and more focused on becoming a real center for environmental education on a local level, with the purpose of offering educational programs and meetings to schools in order to promote environmental knowledge and make students aware of issues related to nature preservation.

Pet therapy
Parco Natura Viva strongly believes in the power of human animal interaction so forth, Animal Assisted Intervention Project started. Booking in time disabled groups of people can experience the emotion to prepare environmental enrichment for different species, they could pet a bunny, feed goats, they could handle animal samples. From six years we have been working with disabled children and teenagers offering them specific and long term Animal Assisted Intervention. Human- Animals interaction is always mediate by the Park’s staff who have the competence to guarantee the needs of everybody.
